MAINTENANCE MAN HOW TO
Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical testing devicesĪssemble, install or repair wiring, electrical or electrical components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery or equipmentĭiagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform other maintenance actions, following checklists Maintains organization and cleanliness of warehouseĬlean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, or other parts of machinery Records small equipment repair work orders performed and work estimate repair costs Performs routine preventative maintenance to ensure that equipment continues to operate smoothly Repairs small equipment such as: vacuum cleaner, auto scrubber, carpet extractor, etc Promote the development of career success standards through modeling appropriate skills, monitoring student skill acquisition, and intervening when inappropriate behaviors are observed provide regular feedback to staff regarding mentoring and intervention techniques
MAINTENANCE MAN FREE
Maintain accountability of students and property adhere to safety practicesĬultivates and maintains a climate on center which is free of harassment, intimidation, and disrespect to provide a safe place for staff and students to work and learn Operate variety of equipment and power tools Perform various repairs to include, furniture repair, hanging pictures and repairing holes in walls and ceilings Receive items from warehouse, using appropriate administrative processĬomplete routine work orders using computerized preventative maintenance system Service and maintain laundry room equipment Operate, repair, and maintain a variety of power tools Also includes caring for shrubs by fertilizing, pruning, watering, and application of wood chip mulch leaks, clogs and new installationsĬare for center lawns to include fertilization, application of herbicides, mowing, watering, and establishment of new lawn areasĬare for trees to include fertilization, pruning, watering, transplanting, and removal of hazardous or dead treesĭesign landscaping for shrubs, beds, and hedges. Perform limited repairs of buildings and associated equipment, fixtures, and infrastructureĪssist in troubleshoot, repair and adjust heating/ventilation systemsĪssist in troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical circuits and fixturesĮffect repairs of plumbing, i.e. (3) ability to read and understand blueprints and other mechanical drawings (4) basic analytical ability to recognize deviations from accepted practice (5) good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to work with all levels of employees and to accurately communicate, document and report and (6) basic knowledge of computer operations and applications pertinent to the field
MAINTENANCE MAN LICENSE
Must be customer focused and possess: (1) a valid California driver's license verified by the DMV (2) ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Must demonstrate a basic understanding of facilities maintenance principles and concepts May perform limited maintenance on vehicles such as fueling, washing, etc Participates in daily conference room and office build outs, disassembles and set ups Participates in relocating office furniture and equipment as required

Loads and unloads vehicles of material and equipment, requiring the ability to lift up to 50lbs Works under close supervision with detailed instructions
MAINTENANCE MAN FULL
Must have full knowledge of and discretion in safely operating hand and power tools and various types of maintenance equipment Must demonstrate a full understanding of facilities maintenance principles and concepts Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and two or more years progressive experience in facilities maintenance May perform industrial mechanic tasks as required Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices Responsible for observing all laws, codes, federal, state and local regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. May move furnitureĭrives company vehicle to on and offsite locations Moves, repositions or sets up equipment or machinery. May troubleshoot and test machines and equipment Maintains and repairs office and building interiors and exteriors including carpentry and painting Performs basic maintenance on electrical pneumatic and heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (belt tension or replacement, filter replacement) equipment
